On March 3, 2017, the MOU signing ceremony between the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand and National Institute of Public Health, Ministry of Health, Lao PDR (NIOPH) was held at Rattanakosin Ballroom, Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
The MOU between Ramathibodi and NIOPH is aimed to establish the beneficial relationship on academic cooperation, including the academic activities and research collaboration. By this event, Dr. Souraxay Prommala, MD, MTM, Director General of the NIOPH, Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., FRCP, FACP,FRCP(T), Dean of Ramathibodi, Dr. Rapee Boonplueang, Assistant to the President for International Relations, Mr.Titouny Sisurad, Second Secretary of The Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Thailand, Prof. Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, M.D, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Prof. Boonsong Ongphiphadhanakul, M.D., Deputy Dean for Research and the other delegates from both Ramathibodi and NIOPH as joined as the witness of the ceremony.
