Admission Requirements
A candidate must :
 
1. hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the appropriated institutes approved by the Office of the Higher Education Commission
2. has a minimum grade point average (GPA) 2.50 of 4.00 scale
3. has a minimum 1 year professional experience in the field of nursing, nursing studies, nursing administration prior to the admission date
4. hold RN license (or equivalent) in his/her own country
5. A candidate who passes the written examination must submit an abstract of a concept paper 1 week before the interview examination day. (e-mail : pornnutchana.lim@mahidol.ac.th)
6. pass an English Proficiency Examination arranged by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, or other institutions certified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, or have a TOEFL-ITP score at least 470, TOEFL computer-based score of 150, TOEFL Internet based score of 52,or IELTS score of 4.5
7. In case your qualification does not match to the admission criteria, candidates must prior attach A Requesting Form for Examination” approved by the program director. 1. Master of Nursing Science Program is an international program using English as a medium of instruction.
2. The program aims to enhance the competencies of nursing staff with the ultimate goal of being the leader of their professional career.
3. Issues in cross cultural nursing are concentrated.
4. Hybrid Education Model comprises of various innovations and technologies are used for teaching managements (computer technology, online and tele-education).
5. The program conducted by qualified and experienced instructors in nursing.
6. The program has collaborated with WHO on nursing training in the region.

 

Proposal / Concept Paper

Required Documents
Prepare the following required documents to submit via online admission system or post :
- Recent photographs (1x1 inch or passport size) 2 photos
- Degree certificate or a letter of graduation certification 2 copies
- Letter certifying that an applicant is currently in the last semester(for an applicant studying in the last semester) 2 copies
- Transcript of a degree (for an applicant with a degree completion) 2 copies
- Grade report with course names and grades received from the first to the current semester 2 copies
- Identification card (or passport for foreigner) 2 copies
- House registration (for Thai citizen) 2 copies
- Proof of payment /receipt 2 copies
- RN license 2 copies

Those who early submit a valid English score prior to the examination will be exempt from English test on the examination date.
