Neuroradiologic Specialist from USA visited Ramathibodi

                 On November 3, 2017, Professor Piyamitr Sritara, MD, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, along with Professor Jiraporn Laothamatas, MD, Director of Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Center (AIMC) and Dr. Witaya Sungkarat, MD, PhD, Principal Investigator of Research Project in Child Boxers of Ramathibodi provided warm welcome to Associate Professor Christopher Thomas Whitlow, MD, PhD, MHA, Chief of Neuroradiology, Wake Forest School of Medicine, USA on the occasion of his visit to Ramathibodi for discussion on further research collaboration.
 
              Dr. Whitlow is a now working as Director of Division of Radiologic Sciences in the Department of Radiology at Wake Forest School of Medicine, USA. His research interests including Magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI, DTI, DKI, NOODI, VBM), magnetoencephalography and traumatic brain injury had led him to study the brain injury caused in players of American soccer. This similar interest led to the initiation to collaborate in research study of the Child Boxers at Ramathibodi.

              Later in the evening the research team had taken Dr. Whitlow to visit a Thai boxing camp, Looksaikongdin, in Min Buri District in observant of their livelihood and ways to connect for research in the near future.
