Japanese NHK World TV station came to shoot on kid boxer research, based-on biomedical engineering imaging, of Thai Brain Mapping Project at Mahidol University Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital in order to make a documentary named ‘Thailand: Boxing Safety Battle’, aired on July 19, 2013.  About 10 days later, a news report team from The Tokyo & The Chunichi Shimbun newspaper came to interview the research team.

Figures 3-4  Higher iron deposits (bleeding remnants) in young boxer brains, compared with age-matched kids at p < 0.001 (T2* Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Figures 5-6  Decreased brain activation on a memory recalling task in young boxers, compared with age-matched kids at p < 0.05 (functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Figures 7-8  Increased brain activation on a hand motor task in young boxers, compared with age-matched kids at p < 0.05 (functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
