Residency
The Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital has organized the elective course in emergency medicine for residency students in emergency medicine including residency students from other disciplinary who are interested in emergency medicine.
Course Duration
The course can be of 2 weeks and 4 weeks where those who are interested can contact in advance to receive the training schedule as well as being able to adjust to suit the person’s needs accordingly.
Teaching methods include;
- Operation in the emergency room
- Lecture, where participants can attend regular lectures of the residency and doctor of medicine programs according to the given schedule during the time of training. In addition, the department can provide lectures on topics that the participants are particularly interested in, if there are many participants at the same time.
- Site visits/ conferences are according to the period of training
- Article writing/ Topic presentation are to be performed by residency students in training at least on 1 topic.
Medical Students
The Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital has organized the elective course in emergency medicine for medical students of year 4 - 6 both from within the Faculty as well as other institutes.

Course Objective
For medical students to gain knowledge in academic content, important procedures and be able to apply more knowledge to emergency patients, as well as to experience more emergency care in addition to regular courses.
Course Content
The content of the course is based on the content that medical students need to know in the regular course, but there will be additional content which is adjustable to suit the interests of students.
