Task Force Health Care (TFHC) is a public-private platform founded in 1996. The TFHC network consist of partners from industry, knowledge institutes, NGO’s, healthcare providers and the government, all active in the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector. The partners provide innovative and sustainable solutions to global (and local) healthcare challenges and are active all over the world. In the last decade the TFHC visited and maintained relationships with more than 30 countries. Through the implementation of Country Platforms the TFHC created a sustainable & special focus on: China, India, Indonesia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa.
On Nov.27, 2018 at The Dean’s Meeting Room, Office of the Dean, 5th Floor of Lecture Hall Building, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University; Prof.Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., Dean, following with his Assistant Dean for International Relations, Assoc. Prof.Sirin Apiyasawat, M.D., Dr.Tachapong Ngarmukos, M.D., Head of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Center and Asst. Prof.Pavit Pienvichit, M.D. from Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine; organized an official welcome for the distinguished visitors from Boston scientific corporation, leading by Mr. Michael Mahoney who is the Chairman & CEO and his Senior Vice President & President of Asia Pacific, Mr. Warren Wang.
The purpose of their visit are to discuss about the possibility to establish a collaborative excellence center for Arrhythmia care with Rhythmia 3D navigation system and have several site visits to the working areas in Ramathibodi including Department of Diagnostic Radiology’s Body Intervention Unit, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Coronary Care Unit and Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center.

On November 9, 2018 - Prof.Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations along with her Assistant Dean for International Relations; Assist.Prof.Suchin Worawichawong, M.D. Assoc. Prof. Krisna Lertsukprasert; Head of Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as the specialists, instructors and professional staff of the department, precisely welcomed the Executive Director, Research Training and International Research Training Partnerships of Macquarie University, Australia, Dr. Ren Yi.
The meeting included a lively discussion and a commitment to more research exchanges and possibility to do the duo program between the 2 institutes in the area of Audiology & Speech-Pathology. Macquarie University is a public research university located in Sydney, Australia. It has 40,000 students, a quarter of which are graduate students. Although relatively young - it was founded in 1964 - it ranks highly among universities within Australia and around the world.
At Meeting Room no.2, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, Dean of Faculty of Medicine together with Mr. Jason Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Biosecurity, LLC and Mr. Marek Stepniak, President of CP Medical Center Co., Ltd., signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of their respective cooperates on November 14, 2018.
The MOU contains a detailed framework for cooperation in research developing and analyzing a unique dataset for cancer research including Cancer Sequencing , Digital Pathology Imaging, Additional Data Collection, finally, the Data Analysis of databases and population studies.

Kansai Medical University (KMU) is a private medical university in the city of Moriguchi, situated in Osaka Prefecture, a satellite town of Osaka, Japan. Its origins can be traced back to 1928, when the Osaka Women’s Medical College was established, but it was not chartered until 1947. In the same year, College Hospital, the first KMU affiliated hospital was established, and an affiliated nursing school was established the following year. KMU became co-educational in 1954, when it was upgraded to the status of an incorporated educational institution and was given the name it has today. On October 22, 2018, the signing ceremony for General Agreement between the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand and University of South Florida (USF) was held at Meeting Room no.2, Office of the Dean, Lecture Hall. The Agreement between Ramathibodi andUSF is aimed to establish the official collaboration between the 2 institutes which leads to the further fruitful exchange activities. By the ceremony, the speeches were delivered by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., FRCP, FACP,FRCP(T),Dean of Ramathibodi, and Prof.John Sinnot, Chairman of Internal Medicine, University of South Florida; as representatives of each institutes. Bangkok- October 2, 2018– In light of personalized medicine and smart medicine being the trend of next generation medicine, Translational Medicine MSc and PhD Programs together with Division of Postgraduate Study and Division of International Relations at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, hosted The 1st Thailand-Taiwan Forum on Medical Science and Technology, under the theme: “Next-Generation Era of High Throughput Smart Medicine and Personalized Medicine” at the Meeting Room on the 7th floor of Somdetch Phra Debaratana Building.
Twelve distinguished speakers from the 2 leading universities of Taiwan including National Sun-Yet Sen University and National Taiwan University joined the symposium. The MSc and PhD Programs in Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and College of Sciences, National Sun Yat-sen University has jointly signed the double degree program agreement for both Ph.D. and Master degrees in 2017, which is the first double degree program between Taiwan and Thailand. Furthermore, Ramathibodi School of Nursing also has long-term collaborations with the National Taiwan University.
On this occasion, Prof.Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as the representative of the Dean, Prof. Duangrurdee Wattanasirichaigoon, M.D., Deputy Dean for Graduate Education, and Dr.Chen-Yuan Tung, Representative of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand together welcomed our distinguished speakers. Prof. Sirintara stated during her remark that Ramathibodi has succeeded in setting up an official collaboration with National Sun Yat-sen University in order to establish the official long-term research collaboration and a Cooperation Agreement for Master and Doctoral Double Degree Programs and also encouraged collaborations of using animal models to study human diseases. While Dr.Chen-Yuan Tung expressed his willing to promote the exchanges and cooperation in medical education, science and technology between Thailand and Taiwan. He further mentioned that there are many scholarships provided for Thailand students to study in Taiwan.
