On March 31, 2021, 06.00 P.M. – 07.00 P.M., Shinshu University School of Medicine, Japan, together with the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, co-hosted a Virtual Exchange Activity via the web conferencing platform Zoom. The Virtual Exchange Activity at that time was held under the theme of Community Medicine comprised the special lectures on “Health System in Thailand” presented by Asst. Prof Vijj Kasemsup, M.D., Ph.D. from faculty of medicine ramathibodi Department of Community Medicine, while another lecture was on “Characteristic of Medical System in Japan” presented by Prof. Kenji Sekiguchi from Shinshu University School of Medicine. On this occasion, Prof. Naoki Tanaka, a professor of the International Relations Office in Shinshu University School of Medicine, also attended the activity and gave greeting words to all 35 participants, from both Ramathibodi and Shinshu.

This activity was counted as the 2nd Virtual Exchange Activity with Shinshu University, which aims to encourage the medical students from both Ramathibodi and Shinshu to share and exchange their academic knowledge despite the pandemic era.
