The Ramathibodi School of Nursing took care of both education and service as the unification model from the beginning until 2010. All nursing services provided to patients were safe and of a high standard. Instructors, advanced practice nurses and registered nurses in the Ramathibodi School of nursing worked together to develop the best nursing practices. All excellent nursing practices are initiated by our faculty members which become the original models for other nursing institutions and hospitals around Thailand to practice and apply their nursing care. Those best nursing practices are home care initiated by Associate Professor Suntaree Panuthat, friendship therapy initiated by Associate Professor Darunee Junhavat, primary nursing system initiated by Associate Professor Supanee Senadisai, family-centered care initiated by Assistant Professor Dr. Jariya Wittayasooporn, advanced practice nurse initiated by Professor Dr. Somchit Hanucharurnkul, and evidence-based nursing practice initiated by Assistant Professor Dr. Renu Pookboonmee.
After nursing service was separated from the Ramathibodi School of Nursing in 2010, faculty members from the Ramathibodi School of Nursing still work collaboratively with the Nursing Division of Ramathibodi Hospital to strengthen the clinical practice of nursing students. This collaboration makes both the Ramathibodi School of Nursing and the Nursing Division of Ramathibodi Hospital to be one of producing the good nursing students for the public. Faculty members of the Department of Nursing also have their faculty practices with their target population in the hospital and in community settings, such as breast cancer patients, patients with ostomy, caregivers, etc.
