The Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, proudly hosted the 13th ASEAN Medical Deans' Summit (AMDS) 2024 from February 5 to 6, 2024. This annual gathering convenes deans of medical schools from ASEAN member countries, promoting collaboration and progress in medical education across the region. The summit took place at the Convention Hall B2, 22nd floor, Centara Grand Bangkok Convention Center at CentralWorld in conjunction with the 23rd Thai Medical Education Conference (TMEC) 2024. The central theme of the summit was "Personalizing Medical Education for a Healthier World" emphasizing the importance of collective action and knowledge sharing between ASEAN medical schools. The event provided a platform for deans to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in medical education, share best practices and innovative approaches as well as collaborate on regional initiatives to improve health outcomes.
On day 1 (February 5, 2024), the 9th AMSN Board Meeting was held, Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, delivered opening remarks while Prof. Charlotte Chiong, M.D. Ph.D., President of AMSN, served as a chair of the discussion meeting with the executive team. On day 2 (February 6, 2024), the AMSN Sub-Committee Meeting shared updated information on the work of various sub-committees. The summit facilitated insightful discussions on the progress of different working groups, paving the way for further collaboration and collective advancement in ASEAN medical education.
ระหว่างวันที่ 5 - 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ณ Convention Hall B2 ชั้น 22 โรงแรมเซ็นทาราแกรนด์ บางกอก คอนเวนชัน เซ็นเตอร์ แอท เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานประชุม 13th ASEAN MEDICAL DEANS' SUMMIT (AMDS) 2024 ซึ่งเป็นการประชุมสุดยอดคณบดีโรงเรียนแพทย์อาเซียนซึ่งจัดเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยครั้งนี้ได้จัดให้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงาน 23rd Thai Medical Education Conference (TMEC) 2024 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรวมพลังทางความคิดของโรงเรียนแพทย์ในประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน ในปีนี้การประชุมได้มีการหารือเกี่ยวกับความคืบหน้าของแต่ละกลุ่มทำงานภายใต้หัวข้อหลัก "Personalizing Medical Education for a Healthier World"
โดยในวันแรก (5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567)เป็นการประชุม AMSN Board Meeting ครั้งที่ 9 ศ.คลินิก นพ.อาทิตย์ อังกานนท์ คณบดี คณะแพทยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดี ในฐานะตัวแทนเจ้าภาพ ให้เกียรติกล่าวเปิดประชุม โดยมี Prof. Charlotte Chiong, M.D. PhD. ประธานของ AMSN ทำหน้าที่ประธานการประชุมหารือในกลุ่มคณะผู้บริหาร ขณะที่ในวันที่สอง (6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567) เป็นการประชุม AMSN Sub-Committee Meeting ซึ่งมีการนำเสนอผลงานการทำงานของคณะอนุกรรมการในด้านต่าง ๆ
