Migraine is a neurological disorder characterized by severe unilateral head pain, often accompanied by symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Migraines affect approximately 13.5% of the global population, which is higher among females than males, with rates of 18.4% in females compared to 9.4% in males. It significantly impacts work or school productivity, family life, interictal burden, and healthcare costs.
The migraine cohort is constructed from patients who visited the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University and were diagnosed with migraine since 2010. The cohort is composed of various features from many databases, for instance, demographics, comorbidities (e.g., depression, anxiety, obstructive sleep apnea), and non-specific and specific migraine medication, both acute and preventive treatment, which are potentially useful for research.
