Macquarie University's Research Partnership Workshop & Scholarship Offers (MURPWS) is a half-day event, held on Friday 9th November 2018 @ Mini Theater 3rd fl. Bangkok- October 2, 2018– In light of personalized medicine and smart medicine being the trend of next generation medicine, Translational Medicine MSc and PhD Programs together with Division of Postgraduate Study and Division of International Relations at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, hosted The 1st Thailand-Taiwan Forum on Medical Science and Technology, under the theme: “Next-Generation Era of High Throughput Smart Medicine and Personalized Medicine” at the Meeting Room on the 7th floor of Somdetch Phra Debaratana Building.   Twelve distinguished speakers from the 2 leading universities of Taiwan including National Sun-Yet Sen University and National Taiwan University joined the symposium. The MSc and PhD Programs in Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and College of Sciences, National Sun Yat-sen University has jointly signed the double degree program agreement for both Ph.D. and Master degrees in 2017, which is the first double degree program between Taiwan and Thailand.  Furthermore, Ramathibodi School of Nursing also has long-term collaborations with the National Taiwan University.  On this occasion, Prof.Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as the representative of the Dean, Prof. Duangrurdee Wattanasirichaigoon, M.D., Deputy Dean for Graduate Education, and Dr.Chen-Yuan Tung, Representative of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand together welcomed our distinguished speakers.  Prof. Sirintara stated during her remark that Ramathibodi has succeeded in setting up an official collaboration with National Sun Yat-sen University in order to establish the official long-term research collaboration and a Cooperation Agreement for Master and Doctoral Double Degree Programs and also encouraged collaborations of using animal models to study human diseases.  While Dr.Chen-Yuan Tung expressed his willing to promote the exchanges and cooperation in medical education, science and technology between Thailand and Taiwan.  He further mentioned that there are many scholarships provided for Thailand students to study in Taiwan.  The Panel Sessions during these 2 days scientific forum focused on the following key topics: · Toxicology · Animal model · Regenerative medicine, immunotherapy for cancer and pharmacogenomics · Pharmacology · Cancer We sincerely hope 2018 The 1st Thailand-Taiwan Forum on Medical Science and Technology or-ganized by International Relations Section and Graduate Education Section of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol Uni-versity provides a structured platform for the young blooded researchers to share information and provide the latest updates on their research projects, particularly on Medical Science and Technology in Smart Medicine and Personalized Medicine.

Dr. Nawanan Theera-Ampornpunt, M.D., Assistant Dean for Policy and Informatics, as the representative from Faculty of Medicine Ramatibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, joined the business dinner meeting hosted by Dr. Chen-Yuan Tung The Representative of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand.
Prof. Sirintara SINGHARA NA AYUDHAYA, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relation and Professor of Radiology (INR), of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University precisely gave a speech at the 16th Brush-up Seminar of NeuroEndovascular Therapy, held at Kobe International Exhibition Hall 3, Kobe, Japan during September 13 - 15, 2018.   The program of BSNET 2018 includes a stimulating mix of live case transmission, lectures on the state-of-the art, major global issues in neurovascular diseases. On this occasion, Prof.Sirintara was invited to deliver a contribution as the past president of World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (WFITN) in front of more than 1,000 audience from all over Japan.
The organizer committees of Ramathibodi International Academic Conference 2018 (RIAC 2018) provided a welcome dinner for the international visitors from various countries joining as the honorable speakers of the conference at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, where our award-winning chef serves classic Cantonese cuisine with a contemporary twist located within Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park Hotel, on September 3, 2018.
Prof.Sirintara Singhara na Ayudhaya, M.D.; as representative of Prof.Piyamitr Sritara, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, along with the member of Ramathibodi Cancer Center including Prof.Suradej Hongeng, M.D., Asst.Prof.Ekaphop Sirachainant, M.D., Dr.Touch Ativitavas, M.D. and Dr.Pimjai Niparuck, M.D, provided a warming welcome dinner for Prof.Borje Andersson, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Department of Stem Cell Transplantation, Division of Cancer Medicine, the University of Texas MD Anderson on September 2 , 2018 at Sala Rim Naam Restaurant, Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Asst.Prof. Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Assistant Dean for International Relations, as the representative of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, had joined the opening ceremony of the Mahidol University Student, Academic and International Services (MUSAIS) held at the 1st floor of Mahidol Learning Center. MUSAIS is established in order to facilitate Mahidol's international exchange students and to become an information center for MU Thai students who eager to have both oversea academic or multi-cultural experience.

Prof.Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya provided a welcome speech for Mr.Ryoji Noritake, President of Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI); Dr.Ryo Watanabe, lecturer of Division of establishment for graduate school of Health Innovation, his and group of students (Master and PhD in Public Health) from University of Kanagawa, Japan on occasion of their visit for special lecture about "Caring for Older Person: in Hospital Services and Comprehensive Dementia Care". The lectures comprised 3 topics including "Caring for Older Person: in Hospital Services and Comprehensive Dementia Care" by Asst.Prof.Sirintorn Chansirikanjana from Department of Medicine; "Geriartric Assessment Clinic" by Asst.Prof.Chitima Boongird and "Palliative&End of Life Care" by Asst.Prof.Kittiphon Nagaviroj from Department of Family Medicine.
